1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the Lattice AI Partners property tax savings calculator (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

The Service provides estimates of potential property tax savings based on publicly available assessment data, comparable sales, and statutory equalization factors. The Service is a free informational tool and does not constitute legal advice, tax advice, or an appraisal.

3. No Attorney-Client Relationship

Use of this calculator does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and Lattice AI Partners. The results are estimates based on publicly available data and automated calculations. An attorney-client relationship is only formed through a signed engagement letter.

4. Accuracy Disclaimer

While we strive for accuracy, the estimates provided by the Service are approximations and may differ from actual tax savings. Results depend on the accuracy of underlying data sources, including:

  • County assessor records and equalization factors
  • Comparable sales data from public deed recordings
  • Automated valuation models from third-party providers
  • Tax rates that may change between assessment and billing periods

We make no warranty or guarantee regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any estimate or analysis provided by the Service.

5. Permitted Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Attempt to access the Service through automated means (bots, scrapers) beyond reasonable personal use
  • Overload, disrupt, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure
  • Use the Service to collect personal information about other individuals
  • Misrepresent the results as a professional appraisal, legal opinion, or official tax document

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and analysis methodology, is the intellectual property of Lattice AI Partners. You may use the analysis results for your personal use, including filing a property tax appeal. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service itself.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lattice AI Partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service (which is $0 for the free calculator).

8. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third-party data providers and APIs. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or policies of these third-party services. Temporary interruptions in third-party services may affect the availability of the Service.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from the use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Cook County, Illinois.
